Subject: I ask again

Please share this message with anyone willing to listen - thank you.

Turkey has my greatest respect for standing by their legal system and not allowing the USA to begin using Turkish land for military bases. It was wonderful to hear this vote, and I know it was not an easy one for the members to make.

Now... the Bush Administration is not happy with it, so they again try to force Turkey to USA will and wishes. My friends, this is wrong! Turkey has fairly and justly voted -- it is an insult that the USA demand another vote and try to attain a majority. It is an insult to the Turkish legal system, to the voting members, to the country. I would wish that if Turkey complies with a new vote to appease the USA, that as one voice all members vote "NO" to USA military on Turkish land - in support of their own legal system that has spoken, yet the Bush Administration cannot hear this.

My friends, America is not the enemy of the world - the current government with its demanding, war-mongering ways is. This government is undermining the UN, Turkey, weapons inspectors, and the stability and peace we all wish for our world. I heard President Bush talk of a nuclear bomb in Baghdad -- what other country has threatened a nuclear bomb against civilians (potentially up to 3.5 million casualties) as a "pre-emptive" measure? Should I ask who is the evil dictator in the world? Was Turkey not offered huge sums of money to support a war against their own integrity? Define terrorist... is this not a person or group of persons that attacks innocent civilians against International Law, without justification or good cause?

The current history speaks for itself. First President Bush was given total war powers in our country to defend against attack. Then we were told it was a "pre-emptive" war to prevent an attack -- yet no sufficient evidence supports this. So we were told it was over the Kuwait invasion by Saddam - all those years ago. We were warned of weapons of mass destruction - that have not been found, and that neighboring Iraq countries have no fear of. We were told Iraq was connected to 9/11 - again no sufficient evidence has been presented. Now -- we are told we must remove Saddam from power (he is an evil dictator that kills people) and save the Iraqi people from him ----- at the cost of whose bloodshed? At what cost to the world, to International Law, to the UN? I suggest if it is "for the Iraqi people" we declare this war - then maybe we should ask the Iraqi people. Ask those with the most to lose, ask the civilians of Iraq -- "Should the USA military begin a war against Saddam in order to free you and establish a democracy?"

You see from this shifting of one reason to another the USA is seeking to find any good reason to proceed with war. And they offer bribes to other countries, and refuse to listen to the world. The world must stand up against such a global tyrant that shows no respect for other countries, other people, and the international community.

Please help lead the world in this defiance of USA arrogance - USA is one country on a planet of many, and with united voices, the world can refuse the right of one country to control the world. I am ashamed of my current government and its behavior to the world citizens. I am not a supporter of Saddam or of Bush... I support no dictator (even disguised as American democracy) that would force its will upon the world and the people of the world. It is time for the world to come together as one people that work for peaceful resolutions within international law, and allow no country to abuse the global community.

Please stand strong with integrity, faith, and decency at this time.

Thank you - God bless you all, and the world
