Discuss the refurbishment of the group's parade float and participation in the Brainerd 4 th of July parade on Thursday. Doug has not received email about details but the parade. He will send out an email when he has the information. The float has been refurbished and required over $500 worth of supplies. This was covered by members working on the float. This expense was necessary as the float was getting well worn with rotting wood and chipped paint. This has put a strain on our small budget. We are asking anyone who wishes to make a donation for the project to remit to: BACP P.O. Box 113 Brainerd, MN 56401 After all the effort and expense, we would also like to purchase a cover to protect it from the elements when parked. 2. Discuss the scheduled Saturday, July 6 th peace vigil at the intersection of MN #371 & # 210 in Baxter. Vigil will be at 1p.m. Signs supplied. 3.
